With over 250,000 Spotify streams in just over a year, Bad Marilyn have already made a strong first impression. But what truly defines this Swiss-Finnish quintet is their relentless stage energy.
Since 2023, the band have proven to be far more than a streaming phenomenon. Their debut album, Eye of the Snake, was released in 2024 and produced by renowned producer Dennis Ward. Festival appearances at Metal Storm over Lucerne, Rock and Ride and the Brienzersee Rockfestival have further established the band within the Swiss metal scene.
In 2025, Bad Marilyn reached the semifinals of the Wacken Metal Battle Switzerland.
The band combine powerful riffs, soaring melodies, dynamic songwriting and powerful vocal contrasts. Their music brings together melodic power metal, heavy metal influences and modern intensity.
With Finnish vocalist Nitte Valo joining the band, Bad Marilyn have entered an exciting new chapter. In April 2026, the band began recording their upcoming album at the Kangaroo/TrakShak Studios in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany, once again under the direction of Dennis Ward.
